Q: Can you provide a fishing license for us?

A: No. However, you can purchase a fishing license online or at most Hardware Stores, Sporting Stores, and Grocery Stores in the state. Remember to add a King Salmon Stamp if you’re Salmon fishing.

Q: How many Halibut can I catch?

A: 2 Halibut per day – 4 per year

Q: What should I bring?

A: Bring your fishing licenses/stamps, clothing layers, rain gear, and food & beverages for a full 10 hour day on the water. If you get sea sick, plan accordingly with whatever remedy suits you best.

Q: Do you process and ship our fish?

A: We will fillet for you. If you wish to process and ship, your Captain will arrange Homer Fish Processing or Coal Point to meet at the dock in the afternoon. This will be an additional cost for you and paid directly to them. Be sure to check their processing and shipping rates prior.

Q: Is there a bathroom on board?

A: Yes

Q: What’s the weather going to be like?

A: It’s Alaska, expect some rain throughout the day. Clothing layers and rain gear are highly recommended.
